Another Day, Another Lake!!
We had such a fun Friday night this weekend. We joined Nic, Steff and the girlies at Willard Bay to do some wakeboarding, tubing, skiing, and barbequeing! The weather was perfect, the water couldn't have been better and we all seemed to bring our A game to the wakeboard. Nic impressed as always with his tricks and air but Steff was not left far behind with her poses and tricks. Ryan and I like to think we have improved a lot this summer, we even got some air we just never really caught them on camera. We love going boating especially with some of our favorite little girls! Thanks Nic and Steff!
Kendyl and Ryan hanging out on the beach!
Tubing with Camryn and Brooklyn
Ryan wakeboarding
Brooklyn Loves to ski and her special pink ski!
We saw one of the prettiest sunrises I had ever seen!

The Nelson's Go to Manhattan!
So this past weekend Ryan and I and Ryan's sister Aimee took a little trip to NYC, and we had a great time. It wasn't the most relaxing of trips but it was a blast! I had never been to New York so I wanted to do all the touristy things:
We went to the Empire State Building
We went to Mario Batalli's pizza place by NYU and it was incredible
Then we headed to Times Square where we.....
saw the Little Mermaid!!! It was soooo magical!
Next it was treat time, so we made our way over to Magnolia Bakery where I had a delicious red velvet cheesecake and Peanut Butter Blondie.(Both were incredible!)
Then we went to Rockefeller Center to eat our treats! (The red lips are due to the red velvet cheesecake)
The next morning we made our way downtown to see:
The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We actually were on Ellis Island when the plane and helicopter collided over the Hudson.
Saturday night we went to Grenich Village and had some Brazillian food in the cutest little restaurant, later we went to see Wicked! We loved it, it was awesome. And during intermission someone about 10 rows in front of us stood up and started clapping, we wondered what was going on and Oprah stood up out of the audience and everyone started cheering. They had a hard time calming everyone down to start the 2nd act.
We went to the Met
And then I found a little piece of heaven on the upper east side, it's called Dylan's Candy Bar and they have every single kind of candy imaginable!!
We became experts at taking the Subway, actually Ryan did I just followed
This is me at the American Natural Museum of History in front of a giant blue whale. We really did have an incredible time! We also saw tons of other things like the 911 site, we did lots of shopping, saw Radio City Music Hall, spent a lot of time in Central Park, went to Brooklyn, went back to Dylan's Candy Bar, ate at lots of yummy restaurants and lots of yummy bakeries, if it weren't for all the walking we did I would have came back 10 lbs heavier. And then I came home and found out my salon is closing at the end of the month.....I guess all good things must come to an end.
