A Note to my Love

No this is not a letter to Moose, but my other love. I have become increasingly aware of just how lucky I really am to have married my Ryan. I have always known that he was great and incredible, but the other day he walked in the door with a brand new shiny ipod. (Mine had been lost the previous week, it is still being debated who actually lost it.) I had not asked him to buy me one, and the fact that it was gift is not what I was impressed me. It was the fact that he thought about how much it would mean to me, and as someone who runs and frequents the gym, he knows how precious my ipod was to me. Since then, I have been thinking a lot about all the wonderful things he does and puts up with. The first would be that he deals quite well with the tv always being on the food network channel. I know he doesn't love it, but he hardly ever gives me a hard time. He has instead, made up his own words to the theme song of almost every different chefs show. He deals with my inability to make a decision, usually which kind of treat I want our way home from somewhere. I can't tell you how many times we have been in the parking lot of an icecream place when I decide I want Krispy Kreme instead. He also supports my Diet Coke habit. I shouldn't say that, he always suggests I quit, but when I'm having a not so good day or feel sick he always offers to go get me one from Maverik. He will go see chick flicks with me. He is always so appreciative of my cooking, and he's a joy to cook for because he loves everything. He doesn't make me feel stupid for my computer illiteracy. He shares an equally ridiculous love for Moose. He doesn't complain when I drag him to Idaho 3 weekends in a row. He thinks, or at least tells me, that I'm beautiful every single day. He knows every single reference to a movie or song. He is so good with my nieces! 75% of what comes out of his mouth is singing! He is the best running partner! He's silly! I have so much fun with him everyday and I am so excited to be able to spend the rest of my life laughing with Ryan.

Moose wishes you all a Happy Weekend!

This is where he will be spending his weekend, watching the football game, and eating some wings! If you get bored come on over and join him!

The Farm!

Camryn and Brooklyn came and stayed with us last weekend, and we had so much fun!!! It's been so fun watching them grow up and see the little people they have turned into! They say the funniest things. For example, a couple weeks ago we stopped by their house on the way up to Idaho and Moose was with us. Camryn was so concerned about making sure Moose had lots of water to drink. I said " ok Camryn that's enough water we have a long way to go in the car"
Nic, joined in and said, keep in mind they are just finishing potty training, " Camryn thats enough water, we don't want him to wet his pants!"
Camryn thought about it for a minute, tilted her head and while a sly smile on her face said "Silly, he doesn't wear pants!"
I thought it was funny. I also got a kick out of Brooklyn when we stopped at Target on our way home. We had one bag full of bags of candy, some my little ponies, and a few other things, but the bag was heavy. Brooklyn insisted on carrying the bag to the car. She had the bag thrown over her shoulder Santa style, all hunched over because of the weight, then she had to move to just dragging it behind her with both hands. Her face remained so calm, and everytime I asked her if I could help, "No, I'm ok I got it!" We had quite a line formed behind us and everyone was chuckling to see this little teeny girl lugging this giant heavy grocery bag.
Saturday we went to the farm at Thanksgiving Point and we had so much fun!

Catch up time!

Nic and Steff invited Ryan and I to come spend some time on the boat with them in Pineview and we jumped at the chance. This summer we have really come to love wakeboarding, and we love our families for letting us come along.
Nic was especially impressive this day and he had us entertained for quite a while.
I jump higher no one can ever seem to get it on camera!
Camryn and Brooklyn have been waterskiing for a while now, then this day after Nic had already been surfing for awhile that she thought she wanted to surf with her dad. So she did! I
And so did Camryn! I love the hand in the wake, just like her dad!
