Goob and Sue Get Married!!!

Goob(Robert) and Sue got married! The ceremony was at my Uncle Wade's house and it was beautiful! It was such a sweet ceremony and these two are soo in love!
My dad walked Sue down the aisle and Wade married them.

Sue and her looked so beautiful and the Goodenough boys looked super handsome!
We are so happy they are a part of our family!
And then we partied! They had so much yummy food! And then we danced and danced and danced!

Horses, Horses, Horses!!!

My good friend Racail, who is also my piano teacher, asked if her horses could stay at our house for a couple weeks.  The horses live in Beaver and she brought them up so all the neighborhood kids could ride, and take care of them.  We have LOVED having them here! It has been so fun watching all the little kids come over every morning and every night to feed and groom them! Plus.....Hudson is obsessed!! He loves the horses and the kids that come over everyday and they are so cute with Hudson.   Kennedy is his little babysitter in our ward, she is holding him in the picture above with Black Beauty!
Kristen is Racail's daughter and she is the cutest little thing.  I'm hoping Sean will marry her older sister when he gets back from his mission.(Yes I am that crazy!)
This is Cohen and Titan, in our ward, and we couldn't pull them off the horse!
One night we went to the equestrian park right by our house and really rode the horses.
This is Carter Jex and Racail with Hudson and Black Beauty.  The other horse is Fancy Pants and I don't know why I don't have any pictures of her!  More to come......Hudson wakes up everyday asking about the horsies and waits by the back door waiting for the kids to come get him to take him to see the horsies!  We'll all be heartbroken when they have to go home!

Fun with the Fam!

We were so happy that Sean came out to Utah a little early before he had to go into the MTC so we could spend some good quality time together.  One morning I asked him if he wanted to go for a fun with us. (I'm training for a half marathon and do one long run a week) He said yes, so we headed to Provo Canyon and parked at the mouth of the canyon, ran up 4 miles to Bridal Veil Falls and then back down to the car.  It is one of my favorite places to run! It is soooo beautiful!  I thought for sure Sean would have a hard time.  Who can just run 8 miles on a random day after not training for it?  Sean, that's who! He is a freak of nature on so many levels!!
While Sean was here we had the girlies come down for a sleep over! We had so much fun playing, eating treats, and playing at the Highland Splash Pad! It is the best Splash Pad around!
Camryn was crazy as ever with all her dance moves on her own little stage!
I got a little emotional watching Sean play with the kiddos! He's such a good uncle!

Schenk Family Reunion

We had our Schenk family reunion in Bancroft, Idaho and it was a blast! I'm just sad I didn't get more pictures of everything that went on.  The highlight was being able to see and visit with our cousin Britten, who was in a terrible accident on his mission in Brazil.  He is doing incredibly but still has a long road ahead of him! Tons of people have asked me if there's anything they can do to help....well some incredible people have put together a 5k August 18 to help raise a little money for some mounting medical bills.  If you're interested go to www.brittensrun.com and sign up!
Anyway, this little trio had lots of fun getting into all kinds of trouble together!
One of Idaho's little hidden secrets is Lava Hot Springs! Friday we went to the awesome pool that they have.  We had so much fun with all our Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and 2nd cousins.  The pool was super crowded but the highlight was when Matt and Steff decided to jump off the 3rd platform! I did it a long time ago and had little desire to do it again.  But I was more than stay behind and document it.

Saturday Nic was kind enough to take us out on the boat! I tried to get Hudson to ski, but he was not having it! He was already ticked about his life jacket! So I didn't push it.He found his happy spot on Nic's lap pretending to drive the rest of the day.
This is our cute little cousin Aliyah skiing.
And her dad, Michael, holding onto the rope!

Katie, Elle, and Averi enjoying watching their daddy doing back flips on the wakeboard!

    Darling Makenna
    Cousin Kyle Straatman

One of Matt's many back flips
Kissing cousins!!! Hudson kept trying to kiss Taylee! You can't blame him, she is just so darn cute!! (and they're 2nd cousins...I think.....if she is my counsins daughter what does that make her to Hudson?)

Aunt Katie brought some homemade bubbles for the little kiddos to play with.....and they loved them!
There were so many fun things that I didn't get on camera like playing volleyball, all of the late night card games, the 4 wheeler gang, all the yummy food, the foot races,  and water fights.
I am so lucky to be part of such an incredible family!

4th of July

This year for the 4th of July we headed up to our favorite spot, Soda Springs Idaho! It is THE best place to spend the 4th.  The Clark family puts on quite a party up there! When one delicious meal ends, prep for the next one begins! We got there Tuesday night and had an incredible cookout with steak and potatos and fun fun company. The next morning we got up early to "Run for Robert" which is a 5k they put on and proceeds go to a charity in our dear Uncle Roberts name!

I pushed Hudson in his stroller for the first two miles and then handed him off to his dad for the last mile!  Sean got a really good time, and Ryan and I's time was just ok! But we had fun running with so much family.

On our way home we stopped for cokes and doughnuts to reward ourselves and they served as an appetizer for our next homemade breakfast!

The next activity of the day was the parade!! It is the best parade this side of the Mississippi! We got tons of candy! And Hudson loved seeing all the horses!

Sue, Quincie, and Syd always make sure we get our "spot" right in front of the Maverick!

Next we headed to the park for a carnival and it was Hot!! So we enjoyed a snowcone.

Then...the 3 on 3 basketball tournament where we watched our future cousins, Kayden and Hunter, play.

Hudson finally found someone to give him some of their fountain drink! He will love Aunt Sue and Aunt Patti forever!!
After the basketball tournament we returned to Grandma's house and had our annual fried chicken lunch! Way to go Kurt! It was incredible!!
We were so glad we had uncle Sean with us to keep Hudson under control and entertained! A picture perfect tradition that we will continue until we are no longer invited!
